How to enrol in a beginner level course for the first time
Step 1. Apply for Temporary Membership of SBSC via our membership page.
If you are a parent or guardian of a child who wants to enrol in a LTS class for Juniors
- (a) apply for your child to become a Temporary Member (Learn to Sail) of SBSC via our membership page using your child's name AND
- (b) apply for yourself to become a Temporary Member (Learn to Sail Parent / Guardian) of SBSC via our membership page using your name
If you are an adult who wants to enrol in a LTS class for Adults
- (a) apply to become a Temporary Member (Learn to Sail) of SBSC via our membership page.
You will then receive an email with your Australian Sailing Number and login details.
SBSC will upgrade your temporary membership to full season membership once you have booked and paid for your course.
Step 2. Book into the Beginner level LTS course that suits you best
Once you have received your Temporary Membership and login details, you can:
- Login https://www.sbsc.org.au/login/ to view your SBSC member profile and available LTS class dates.
- Enrol in the beginner level course that suits your availability (i.e. LTS for Adults, LTS for Juniors, or School Holiday Classes)
- Book into all sessions for that course
- Finalise payments
- Use any applicable discount codes
Step 3. Confirm your booking
- You will receive a confirmation email from us
- Our course coordinator will contact you to finalise arrangements before the course.

Step 1. Speak with our course coordinator to determine which level is best for you or your child
