Who should come
Whats involved
- You will watch and participate in basic sailing activities on the Brisbane River at West End including how to rig and sail a Heron.
- Its a great opportunity to meet new people interested in sailing at SBSC - one of Brisbane's best places for river sailing.
Experience and requirements
- No previous sailing experience is required.
Because dinghy sailing can be physically demanding, you need to be fit and agile including:
- able to swim 50m
- sufficient upper body strength to pull yourself out of a swimming pool without assistance
- good balance and able to move quickly when the boat is moving
What to bring
- A hat and sun-screen
- Water bottle
