LTS Safety Induction - Compulsory for LTS Instructors and LTS Volunteers

With the increased focus on safety practices at SBSC, Maritime Safety Queensland now require that all members who operate or crew powerboats for safety, race management or learn to sail activities at SBSC must undertake a Safety Induction before using powered watercraft.
Our Rear Commodore, Troy Mckay-Lowndes will conduct a Safety Induction session for LTS Instructors, Assisant Instructors and Volunteers next Saturday 14 September 2024 between 8:30am and 10:30am.
Who is should undertake the induction:
- All sailing instructors
- All assistant sailing instructors
- Anyone who volunteers on safety boats during learn to sail activities
No prior preparation is necessary.
Please bring your Recreational Marine Drivers License with you, if you have one.
